My goodness, what a journey.
Speaker 2:What a journey. My favorite part about the timeline in the foyer is that there's some OGs in the house the ones that started day one and then there's some newbies and we're so happy. Everybody's here this morning. My name is Pastor Angela, I'm Pastor Sean's better half, that's what he tells me, anyways. My name is Pastor Angela, I'm Pastor Sean's better half, that's what he tells me anyways. And so if we haven't met, I would love to meet you. I'd love to connect. Grab that connect card in front of you in your seat, fill it out and if you've already connected, but you have a prayer request, please, please, please, fill out that prayer request.
Speaker 2:We are meeting on Wednesdays, right now at 7 o'clock for the 21 Days of Prayer and fasting, and we would love to pray over your need. We would love to agree with you and see breakthrough in those areas. Come on, somebody who's ready for some breakthrough? As we enter our last week of fasting, I'm sure someone is ready for something to happen. Amen, come on. And so this will be our last prayer meeting this Wednesday. Don't miss it. If you haven't been to anyone, this is the one to hit. It's going to be good. This last Wednesday was so sweet. The presence of the Lord was so sweet in this building. So the last thing I want to tell you because we got some special my spiritual parents are in the house today and I'm excited. I want to hear what they have to say again, over and over over, all day long. And so today is the last time.
Speaker 2:The last day you can sign up to host a small group that kicks off in two weeks. So make sure you get your small group on the list. The directory will go up next Sunday so you can start signing up. I don't know how many we have. They told me the other day and I was like oh okay, that's a lot, all right, but there is room for yours. So if the Lord has been moving on your heart to host something, remember you just need you and two other friends. That is a small group. Anything that talks about the Lord is a small group, and so we want you to sign up today and get your small group on the directory. God has a plan for you and a purpose for your life, and it's time for you to start walking in it. Hello, can you. And a purpose for your life, and it's time for you to start walking in it. Hello, can I get an amen? So I'm trying not to make any eye contact with anybody as I tell you this, but you got to sign up today, hello.
Speaker 1:Here we go, here's stretch out. Now, here we go, stretch out, stretch out, and let your body move, stretch out. You ain't got nothing but time, and I'm here with you. We're going to have a good time, a mighty fine good time. Yeah, now give it a little beat. Get it Woo.
Speaker 3:Woo, she is excited enough for all of us. We should all be up on our feet.
Speaker 1:She just makes me want to do the exercise.
Speaker 3:We're stretching today. All right, come on. Some of y'all need to lighten up. Y'all are thinking that is not for church. Hey, I picked that video. I got nobody to blame but myself. We can have fun in church, amen, all right, so I don't take up any more time. I'm going to invite a very special couple to the stage to join me. Pastor Doug and Susan Young are from California, all the way from California and all the way from my teenage years, which is many, many, several decades back now. Pastor Doug has known Angela and I since before we were dating at 16 years old, and known Angela for longer than that. I don't know how long, but it means a lot for you guys to be. It means a lot for them to be with us today.
Speaker 3:Every time they speak into the church, it's conversations and things said that you just want to grab a hold of. And then sometimes you guys say things and then we realize, wait a second, they said that. Sometimes you guys say things and then we realize, wait a second, they said that and we should have been paying attention. What were they doing? Let's call them back, let's get them back on the phone or let's figure out how to get to California and get you guys here, and we cherish your words and believe that the Lord speaks to us through you, and so today I hope you're ready to take notes. They're going to give you some really powerful things for this year, for your life, for breakthrough.
Speaker 3:And these were some of the very first people that we told that we were going to start a church in spring, texas, and they didn't question are you sure you want to do that? They said you can do this, and so it gave us confidence and courage to step out on faith, and some of you guys were around very close to those days a handful, you can see. I think there were three dots out on the board out there for people who are around that early. There may be a few more by now, but I want to invite you guys to come on up. Would you guys give them a hand? Amen. It is a special day today as we celebrate and dedicate this moment, and I'm so excited that with us to take this step Awesome.
Speaker 5:We love relate you made us sound old my goodness. Or maybe me. I don't know how that's possible to have known you that many years and I'm only 39. So I don't know how that happens, but it must be a miracle. How does that happen? Only Jesus. What about 21? I just celebrated 30 in California. It's about to be 31. It's just an amazing journey with God.
Speaker 4:Wait, how are you 39 and you've been pastoring for 30?
Speaker 5:years, I started young. I started young, real young. Oops, I missed up, didn't.
Speaker 4:I yeah, you did.
Speaker 5:My goodness.
Speaker 4:We're so happy to be with you guys. It looks amazing in here, absolutely amazing. We're so proud of everything that has happened and happened so quickly. And then you know I, every time we come to houston, your weather's just weird. I just, I just have to tell you your weather's just weird. We were here a year ago this week and you had tornadoes and torrential rain, and now we're here and you're having snowmageddon. I'm just like I just can't decide what it's going to do.
Speaker 5:What is up in just a couple more days, we'll be wearing our Hawaiian shirts again. Right, be hot. Well, I just want to say congratulations. A couple more days, we'll be wearing our Hawaiian shirts again. Right, amen, be hot. Well, I just want to say congratulations, and we're so honored to be invited to come and be a part of this.
Speaker 5:Pastor Sean already mentioned when they first called and said hey, we're thinking about starting a church and feel like God is speaking that to us, and we begin to agree with them in prayer that they would hear God clearly, because it's no small task, and you better have a word from the Lord. I'm telling you, I know a lot of people start, but not a lot of people finish. I don't know if you realize, though, the average church starts one out of every five fail. Did you know that? One out of every five Pretty incredible, huh, it's a big deal to say. God's called me to go start a church somewhere, and so we just agreed with them in prayer, and as they fasted and prayed and we, we flew them out to California and said we want you to introduce you to our church. I think we took y'all to Yosemite, didn't we? Yeah, and we just kind of wandered around driving through Yosemite, looking at God's creation and dreaming about you. Yeah, we didn't know it was you. Yeah, we didn't know what God was going to do yeah.
Speaker 4:And it was really neat because you just you turned to Sean and you said pull out your pen and paper, let's take some notes.
Speaker 5:And here we go. But our church when they heard the news, they said let's do it too. And we got behind them and partnered with you guys in the launch and through that first year, uh, supported not only in prayers and fasting and believing God, but financially as well. And so this is just a part. When I said to the church we're going to our church in Houston, they go relate. Everybody knows who you are. We're some of your top fans on Facebook and on social media. I watch what y'all do and copy a lot of it. So we shamelessly take ideas and we trade ideas back and forth.
Speaker 4:So we came to check on our investment yeah, that's right, it's looking pretty. It's looking pretty good, I think we got we got some ROI yeah that's right.
Speaker 5:That's right return on investment. I'm so happy about you being that and God's working in your lives and he's changing lives. How many God's changed your life? You're here today because God's changed your life. How many are still in?
Speaker 4:the process, amen all of us, all of us amen. So congratulations and we.
Speaker 5:Amen. Well, we realize that we're standing in a place that generations have gone before. I don't know. We were in staff yesterday and the presence of God was so strong I could barely stand up. It was just the glory of God was in this place, so strong.
Speaker 5:I know you all are in prayer and fasting, but I really feel like that. There has been years of prayer sown on this ground. This is holy ground. I don't know if you realize how powerful that is, to realize that there have been generations that have come before you that have prayed and I believe I know we do. We pray for the future generations, Lord, those that are coming behind us, Lord, those that we pray for the future of this church. And here we all, all these years later, we're standing here where people prayed, they fasted, and we stand on their shoulders and say, who knows what God's going to do next, but we're ready for that. Amen, let's just pray.
Speaker 5:We don't really have a sermon for you today, so it's not really a sermon, but we did come with a word from the Lord for you and I believe that you're going to leave here today with a lot of hope and inspiration and being encouraged. Are you ready for that. Okay, let's just pray, Father, we just thank you for the honor of standing in this place, this house, that you have made, the dream that you have placed in Pastor Sean and Angela's heart to see them and their progress in this church family. Lord, we just are so blessed and I know you have greater things yet to come, greater work still to be done in this city with this people. Lord and Lord, we just ask you, as we listen today to the words that you've got to say, let us speak with clarity, Let us speak in the language that is understood by all, and we pray Father, that it would fall on good ground and bring forth a full harvest. In the mighty name of Jesus and everybody in agreement shout amen.
Speaker 4:Amen.
Speaker 5:Amen, amen. So I'm going to go first, and I started this year with such great hope. We ended last year and I, you know, I always pray and ask the Lord what is your word for us in this coming year? I didn't even realize what year it was for us, but it was a very significant year for us as well. We've been there 30, but about seven years ago we merged three churches into one and became one church. It was just an amazing moment, amazing thing, and it's been seven years since then.
Speaker 5:I didn't even realize until I started thinking about this message and the Lord spoke this word to my heart. And the Lord said how many years has it been? I counted seven and it's the same situation here. You guys have been are seven years old, and seven is a very significant number in the scripture. I don't know if you realize how important it is to God, but God designed it to be this way. And the word that the Lord spoke to me and said this is going to be the year of divine reset. Just say that with me. It's going to be the year of divine. I didn't even know what year it is. Later I found out that it's the year of Jubilee. Did y'all have y'all heard that? That this year is literally worldwide a Jubilee year, see?
Speaker 5:And the Lord began to take me back to studying the scripture of ancient Israel and how God had a plan to shift seasons and times, and you were not supposed to get stuck in a cycle that lasted forever, and God's always had a plan for his people to bring them out of their struggles into a new season. He made their seasons in the earth, where we have every season of the year, there's time to plant, time to harvest, and the earth is run in seasons. God said as long as the earth remains, there will be seed time and harvest, cold in winter, right Spring and fall. We have all these things that God has placed in the earth. And the Lord began to speak to me about our lives, and I feel like it's not just a word for us but the word for his body, and so I just want to speak this over you that the Lord has declared this is a time or season of divine reset.
Speaker 5:God designed the body to work a certain way. In fact, he said it's supposed to reset every seven days. Just like God worked six days and rested on the seventh, you're to do the same thing. He said keep the Sabbath right. Remember the Sabbath, exodus 20 and 8. Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. And this New Testament comes along and tells us Jesus said that man was not made for the Sabbath, but the Sabbath was made for man. Why? Because your body needs a reset. You're not supposed to work, needs this reset. You're not supposed to work all the time, every. You're supposed to work six days and on the seventh day you're to take a timeout for rest. Everybody say rest.
Speaker 4:Rest.
Speaker 5:Amen. I wish I had a lot of time today, but I don't, so I'm just going to, I'm going to lay this on you and then I'm going to hand it off. We're going to take turns. Today we call this tag team preaching at our church. So yeah, it's not the wrestling league, it's preaching league.
Speaker 5:So God designed that there to be seven days in the body reset. He also said that I want you to also do that for the land. Amen. In Leviticus 25, he says you sow a piece of property for six years and at the end of that six years, on the seventh year, let it rest, don't plant anything on it, don't plow it, don't trim the vineyards, just let them go. And I'm going to bless it. And so that what comes forth off the vines and what comes up out of the ground naturally will be enough to sustain you in that seventh year. It's the Sabbath year where the land needs a reset. Come on, somebody, a reset.
Speaker 5:And then God said there's also something that I want you to do that every seven, sevens, god does things in sevens, seven times seven, so every 49 years there's going to be a nationwide reset for the whole nation of Israel and it's called the year of Jubilee, right On the 40th, 9th year. That next year is the 50th year. That's Jubilee. It's also the eighth day and age is the number of new beginnings right? It's the eighth day and God says this is our time for restarts and resets. And in the year of Jubilee, if you'd made some bad business decisions, you'd made some mistakes, or maybe just was unfortunate and life had brought some bad times and you'd gone through rough times financially and you lost the family farm or you got indebted to someone because of the rough times or your bad decisions, god said on that day, all of that needs to be wiped off the record. And it is a divine reset. It is a year of jubilee. It is the time when your past mistakes are wiped off the table, what you've lost has to be returned and what your indebtedness has to be forgiven. Oh man, that's a word for somebody.
Speaker 5:Today, god says that we're coming into a time of divine reset. It is in his timing. It was intended to break the cycle of loss and bondage that someone might have got themselves into, and so I declare that over your life, I declare, in the name of Jesus, that this year is going to be a year when you're going to see miracles like never before. Things that you've lost is going to be returned. Children that you haven't talked to in a long time are going to call back up and say mom, dad, guess what? I gave my heart to Jesus. I'm serving the Lord now. I got off of drugs. It is time for a divine reset. So maybe I got myself in a bad situation on my own, maybe I made some bad choices.
Speaker 5:God said there's a plan for that. You don't have to live in that cycle of dysfunction forever. There's a plan. When this year comes it's like it's we're going to take it off the board, wipe it off the table. Amen, amen. I believe we're entering into a new cycle of freedom. We're going to experience freedom like never before and I declare over you today Come on, relate. I declare over you today that every negative cycle you've been in, in the name of Jesus, it is God's plan for that cycle to end and there's a reset coming. In the name of Jesus. There is a time limit on your struggle and the time is now. The enemy's time is up. It's God's time. I declare jubilee cycle. In the name of Jesus, over this congregation, over this region. In Jesus' name Divine reset Amen, amen. Tag you're it.
Speaker 4:All right, let's go. On December 19th, I was invited to a Zoom call with Bishop Michael Pitts and he wanted to decree and declare over ourselves and our ministry some declarations for 2025. And I want to decree and declare those blessings over your ministry as well, because I think it's important that we learn about declarations and how to decree and declare a thing. We need to know how to call what isn't yet into manifested actuality. Okay, so now, why do we declare? Because we're made in the image of God and when God speaks it is, and when you speak, it is Right. So what we speak matters. What we speak matters.
Speaker 4:I'm an English as a second language learner it was not my first language, so I've always had this fascination with words, and when I come up to a word that I'm not quite sure what it means or I want some more understanding on the word, I'll go look it up. I will go and look up a word because I want to know what the meaning of the word is. I want to be able to speak what it actually means. How many of you know that in this generation, words are being changed to mean something that they never meant before? Go back to the original word. Look it up and find out what it means. What you say over a matter or what you declare over a matter, is what you will have.
Speaker 4:And so many of us use negative declarations and then wonder why we're living in a negative cycle. Have you ever heard something like we're never going to get ahead? Have you ever heard something like we're never going to get ahead? Guess what's going to happen. You're never going to get ahead. Why do we do that? Why don't we declare we may be behind right now, but we are about to get ahead. Guess what happens when we begin to declare the right thing over our lives? So this year I urge you to measure your words and before you speak it think do I need to say that out loud or is my mind messing with my manifestation of what I need? That old mindset can get you caught up. So please measure your words.
Speaker 4:In Matthew, chapter 12, 36 and 37, it says I tell you that on that day of judgment, people will have to account for every careless word they speak For. By your words you will be acquitted and by your words, words, you will be condemned. That white throne judgment, when we stand before the Lord we are going to give an account for every word spoken. I wonder, are we ready for that? We need to be ready for that.
Speaker 4:Pastor Doug always tells us that if we go into prayer and we come out with the same problem, the same anxiety, the same stress, the same depression, that all we did was go in and gripe we didn't actually go into prayer. What does that mean? That means we didn't go in and surrender to the Lord and remind him of his word and come into agreement with the blessing that he had for us. Are we ready to do things differently in this year of Jubilee, in this year of 2025? Listen, we're standing here today and we are living proof that things can change in an instant. Your circumstances can change in an instant. I don't know if you know our story, but we both were married to other people and those people passed away, they died, and so we both became widows with two kids each, and then so the scene changed right From married with two kids to widowed with two kids, to then married with two kids. Four kids, four kids, yeah, and then we had four kids.
Speaker 5:Lended. The family had four kids.
Speaker 4:And in 2024, our youngest daughter called me and said Mom, and her voice was shaking when she said it. So I knew something was wrong, but I didn't think of what she was going to tell me. And she said Mom, I've just been diagnosed with cancer. Now, in that moment, I could have freaked out, or I could have jumped right into the pit with that shaky voice. Oh my God, cancer. And sometimes we do that. But what happens when the two of us fall into a pit? How are we getting out? Someone has to stay above it and help pull. So I had to keep my wits about me in a moment, in an instant, and I want you to learn how to do that.
Speaker 5:Learn how to stop, breathe and speak the word of God, Our God is on the throne, he is in control my tone, my direction, my conviction, and speak the word of God. Our God is on the throne.
Speaker 4:Yes, he is in control my tone, my direction, my conviction and everything I knew to be true about the kingdom had to be made manifest in that moment. It had to be made manifest in that moment. Psalms, chapter 50, verses 14 through 15, says Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving and perform your vows to the most high and call upon me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you and you shall glorify me. What does that mean? Well, I'm to praise the Lord and just be grateful for every single day. Every day I am supposed to be thankful for a life. And it says perform your vows to the most high.
Speaker 4:How many of us? We get in a bind and we're like, oh Lord, if you'll just get me out of this, I'll fill in the blank. And then, once we get out of it, we're like, okay, we're good, and we don't fulfill that vow. Well then the next sentence then becomes null and void, because we didn't do what we said we were going to do. Because it says if you will offer God sacrifice of thanksgiving and perform your vows to the Most High, and then you call upon him in the day of trouble, he says I will deliver you and you shall glorify me.
Speaker 4:2025 will be the year that you stop promising things that you have no intent on fulfilling. Stop telling God that you're going to do something that you're not going to do. Don't say it if you don't mean it. Right. So you're going to begin to walk in the precept set before you. Jesus teaches in Matthew, chapter five, that your word is your bond. Your yes is yes, your no is no, and so we're going to do that. We are fortunate enough that our daughter went through six rounds of chemotherapy with a very rare form of cancer, and she was supposed to go through chemotherapy, radiation and then immunotherapy. It was going to be a long process.
Speaker 4:We went through four rounds of chemo, did a PET scan. It was more than 50% gone. We did rounds four and five and it was done. We don't need any radiation.
Speaker 5:Thank you, lord, no radiation needed.
Speaker 4:We had to keep our wits. When I first spoke to her, she said can you tell dad? So now I have to go tell daddy. So now I have to go tell daddy about his girl, and I have to still keep my tone right because dad's going to freak out. So we kept the promise of the Lord before us. We prayed together.
Speaker 4:Did I fall apart? Yeah, in private, with the Lord, but publicly, and what I was speaking out loud was declarations of healing, declarations of purpose, declarations of a future and a hope. Why? Because I know who I serve and I know he is able, and I know that if he does it for me, he'll do it for you. So what are you declaring? In Job 22, 27, and 28, it says you will make your prayer to him. He will hear you and you will pay your vows. You will also declare a thing and it will be established for you. So light will shine on your way. He's giving you permission to declare a thing and establish it on earth. You have been given dominion, kingdom dominion to move in this space and time on his behalf and yours. So here we go with the 10 declarations that I want to go with you. This is what was given to me and our ministry. This is what I'm giving to you and your ministry.
Speaker 4:Number one may every prolonged battle come to an end. May every prolonged battle come to an end. I don't know what you're going through. I don't know what's happening in your life, but I know that it's time for it to stop. Maybe you have some relationship battles. Maybe you have some to stop. Maybe you have some relationship battles. Maybe you have some marriage battles. Maybe you have some financial battles. Maybe you have some health battles. Whatever it is, may it come to an end.
Speaker 4:Let's talk about the purpose of a battle. The purpose of a battle is victory. Why do you go to war? Because you want to win, right. The purpose of victory is peace. What happens when the war ceases? There is peace. So the purpose of a battle is victory. The purpose of victory is peace. The purpose of peace is building, building. You can't build while you're in warfare. You can't because you're battling. You can't build while you're in warfare.
Speaker 4:Staying in a battle too long causes exhaustion. The enemy keeps you in prolonged battles to keep you from building. That's right. So we decree and declare that every prolonged battle is coming to an end. It is time for building. Building what? What are you going to build? Well, you're going to build what your words are saying and creating with God. So what do you want to build? Get a plan in place, know what it is. Number two may every evil agenda against you backfire. May every evil agenda against you backfire. Every evil thing that was meant for destruction. May it be sent back to where it came from, like a boomerang send it back when the enemy met what the enemy meant for evil.
Speaker 4:God will turn it around for good. May it backfire. Number three may every false friend and impersonator be exposed. This one's going to hurt, I'm just going to tell you now. This one's going to hurt because some people that you think are friends may not be. May not be. They come to you looking like a friend, pretending to be on your team oh well, talking about you behind your back and stabbing you in that back. May God pull the covers off and expose it. May the information come to you from right sources. You cannot afford to go into 2025 surrounded by imposters, and now I want you to make that personal. If I am a false friend or an impersonator in any part of my life, may you correct me, May you convict me, May you make me a better person through it.
Speaker 4:Let's make these all personal as well. These are important. Give me discernment to know what to do. Number four may you break forth on every side. Think about it. Look at how this church broke forth on every side, right To the north, to the south, to the east, to the west. May you break forth on every side. First Chronicles, chapter four, verse 10, said and Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, oh, that you would bless me, indeed, and enlarge my territory, that your hand would be with me and that you would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain. So God granted him what he requested. May you come out of the box of limitations that have held you. May you come out of small-minded thinking, walk into transformational thinking. May you break free from your tribalism. May you come out of the constraints formed against you either by your words or the words of others. May you break free from laziness, procrastination, doubt and fear. May you break forth in wisdom and knowledge and understanding. May you stretch this year.
Speaker 1:May you stretch.
Speaker 4:I decree that you break forth in your home, that you break forth in your work, that you break forth in your walk, in your money, in your imprisonments. May you break forth in your addictions. May you break forth in your work, that you break forth in your walk, in your money, in your imprisonments. May you break forth in your addictions. May you become truly a new creation where old ways of thinking and habits have passed away and, behold, all things have become new. Decree and declare it over you and your household. Number five may the wickedness of the wicked come to an end now.
Speaker 5:Come to an end, in the name of Jesus.
Speaker 4:There are some wicked people. I know we don't like to think so. I know we don't like to think so, but there are some wicked people who stir up vexation. Now guess what I did with that word vexation? Because we don't use it very often. I looked it up. That word means they stir up annoyance, frustration, confusion. They stir up strife, agony, drama, trauma. May they lose their power, their, their influence and the ear of the people that they are speaking to. In the name of Jesus, I declare that wickedness of the wicked ends now ends. Now it ends now.
Speaker 4:We've been praying these declarations over our church through these 21 days of prayer and fasting and we're going to continue to do it. We pray it over our home. I want you to do the same, why not? Let's start using the word of God.
Speaker 4:Number six may you receive blessing in your bloodline. May you receive blessing in your bloodline. There are people in your bloodline who prayed over their family. Maybe you knew about them, maybe you didn't, maybe you think you're the first one in your family to ever come to Christ, but I guarantee you, somewhere in your bloodline someone was praying for you. Someone was praying for you. So there is a blessing to lay hold on. Why not you? Why not you? Why not receive the blessing for you and your children and your children's children? Listen, we stand in a building that's over 200 years old. Do you think that there weren't prayers in this room for you? Do you think that there were not prayers on this ground for you? You were here because of them. Now do we want to move this forward another 200 years? Then we pray for the generations to come, that they will know the Lord, that they will serve the Lord, that we may not know them, we may not see them, but we will be the great cloud of witnesses watching them from afar.
Speaker 4:Decree and declare over yourself the blessings in your bloodline Number seven. May God establish your children and your children's children. May God establish your children and your children's children. Maybe you don't have any children yet, but you have nieces and nephews and cousins. You have people in your bloodline to pray for. But you can begin to pray now. Maybe you're a youth and you're not married yet, but one day you will be and you will begin to declare and decree now over your children's children so that when they come, they already have that. Yes, it's time to pray it forward. It's time to pray it forward. I decree and declare that my children's children will be blessed. That they will stand on the shoulders of my faith and the faith of their parents and come to the full knowledge of Christ. That for generations to come they will be a people who serve the Lord. That everyone they marry will serve the Lord. That the words from my lips will not return void but will fulfill the mandate to love the Lord with every fiber of their beings. That from my lineage there will arise godly prophets, teachers, apostles, evangelists will arise. Godly prophets, teachers, apostles, evangelists. Ministry helps Bring them up. Now how does that prayer manifest? Right here? Are you ready? Let me show you an example.
Speaker 4:In the Bible, david noticed that he was living in a great house. King David was living in a great house and the Israelites were all living in houses, but the Ark of the Covenant, it was still in a tent. And he looked at that and said how can this be? We've got houses and the Ark is in a tent. We've got houses and the ark is in a tent. So David tells the prophet Nathan hey, I want to build God a house. And Nathan tells the Lord.
Speaker 4:And in 2 Samuel 7, verses 13-16,. Here's what the Lord declares he shall build a house for my name and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever. How long? Forever. You see, no one had ever built God a house. God was like no one's ever built me, no one's ever wanted to build me a house. They've kept me in this tent. But, david, you want to build me a house. I'm going to establish your kingdom forever. Forever. I will be his father and he shall be my son. Be his father and he shall be my son. If he commits iniquity that's sin I will chasten him with the rod of men and with the blows of the son of men, but my mercy shall not depart from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I removed from before you. And your house and your kingdom shall be established. How long? Forever before you. Your throne shall be established forever. What line does Jesus come from? What lineage, david? How could it not be a kingdom forever?
Speaker 4:So you want to know a secret? Build a house for God. Build God a house, this church. How do we continue to build? We serve it, we disciple, we stretch. Your pastors have said that you are known, you are loved and you want to welcome being challenged. For his name's sake, don't get offended when you're challenged. Build God a house. Build God a house. Build God a house in your home. Build God a house in your heart. Build God a house in your mind. Build God a house, a place for him to dwell.
Speaker 4:Yes, number eight may the heavens be open over you. May the heavens be open over you. The enemy causes war in the heavenly. He's called the prince of the air. His job is to jumble up the message from God's voice to your ear. There are angels who are ascending and descending. That means that our prayers are being lifted up to God and the answers are coming down. But sometimes the answers get delayed because of that war in the heavenlies. So may it be that when you declare and decree the heavens are open, that the messages become clear and there is not any demonic interception or interference. May it be so that the message is clear, coming up and down.
Speaker 4:Number nine may the doors open in front of you. May the doors open in front of you. People can lie on you, people can cancel you, people can pray against you, but may the will of the Lord open doors before you that are supposed to be open. God says he can open doors that no man can shut, and shut doors that no man can open. May doors that are meant for you to be opened in front of you. May God move people in situations and hindrances out of the way and make his will be established in your life. And then, number 10, and I want you to shout out may the devil get behind you, get behind me, get behind me, get behind me, get thee behind me. Jesus was in the wilderness, and in Matthew, chapter 4, verses 10 and 11, it says Then Jesus said to him Away with you Satan. So when you come against the enemy, what are you supposed to say?
Speaker 5:Get out of here.
Speaker 4:Yeah, get out of here, the enemy. What are you supposed to say? Yeah, get out of here, for it is written you shall worship the Lord, your God, and him only you shall serve. Then the devil left him and, behold, angels came and ministered to him. May the devil get behind you in this season. May you come into a season where the enemy is so concerned with other matters that he doesn't have time to remember who you are.
Speaker 4:The children of Israel came out of Egypt with the enemy chasing behind them. They were heading out of Egypt and the Egyptians were hot on their trail and they were coming at them. And they all of a sudden got to the Red Sea and they looked at we're either going to drown or we're going to get killed. And the waters parted and they walked across. God opened the door, he parted those waters and they walked through. The enemy was coming, coming, coming, and he shut the doors. The roaring sea began and those people drowned. May the things you battle in this season cause you to declare a thing that it doesn't take you 40 years to outrun your demons.
Speaker 5:Come on Jesus, yes, yes.
Speaker 4:Yes, if you want God to be released to do these things in your life, stand to your feet, come on, stand together, lift up your hands toward heaven and agree yes Lord, yes, lord, do it in my life. Yes, lord, in Lord, do it in my life. Yes, lord, in Jesus' name. In Jesus' name, you want to pray for us.
Speaker 5:Oh man, you're going to receive this today. Amen. We're going to leave you with these declarations. You can start saying them over your life, daily or during your 21 days of prayer, however you want to do that. We just stand in agreement with the word today, lord. We just stand in agreement with the word today, lord. Father, we just come in the name of Jesus and we decree and declare over this place that it is the year of jubilee Deliverance from our past, set free from our debts, lord, a return of what has been lost. Lord. We just declare over this house and over these people, father, that every one of these declarations, lord, you begin to go before them. We decree and declare over this community, lord, that your kingdom come, fill this place with your glory.
Speaker 5:Lord, we pray for a supernatural move, just a miracle, signs and wonders being done in the mighty name of Jesus throughout this community. Let this church be a light, a city set upon a hill that cannot be hid. Lord, let there be a fire that begins to burn from this place and may it spread all over this community. In the name of Jesus Christ. Let it become infectious, let it become contagious. Your love and your mercy and your grace. In the name of Jesus, may the chains of wickedness be broken. Let every band of wickedness be broken. Let every yoke be lifted.
Speaker 5:In the name of Jesus, may addictions this year be broken. May people get set free from habits and hangups that have kept them in the past and kept them bound to their past. In Jesus' name, may you loose your glory and every gift of God upon your people. Lord, let them step into new ministries, new blessings, new times, new seasons. In Jesus' name and Lord, we thank you. That, the treasure of heaven. Lord, we loose your angels to go get it and bring it and put it into your hand, the hands of your people, so they may do the work of the kingdom of God. In Jesus' name, that every need be supplied. In Jesus' name and Lord, we just thank you for your word. We declare it, we decree it and we step in it, and everybody in agreement shout in Jesus' mighty name Amen, amen, amen, amen. Give a lot of praise.
Speaker 4:We pray blessings over you, Pastor Sean and Pastor Angela. We pray blessings over you and your church. You have done a mighty work, a mighty work, and may the Lord continue to bless you and keep you.
Speaker 5:Yes, may his hand be upon you, and I want to just say that it is the new beginning. So, really, this is only the beginning.
Speaker 4:We are so proud of you. The foundation has been laid. We're so proud of you. You've done an awesome thing here.
Speaker 5:Amen, and I know you guys love and respect the MMS team.
Speaker 5:Amen, amen. There's a shout out and respect them. I'm grateful to be a member of relate, yes, even if I'm in California, amen. So let me just take a moment. I don't ever miss a moment.
Speaker 5:So if you just bow your head with me right now, today, you've come today and I know we're celebrating a lot of great things and there's a lot of things happening, but you're here today and you just said you need Jesus in your life. You want you hear us talking about breakthrough and new season. You may not even know what all of that means, but you know you need something new in your life. I want to tell you today the answer is Jesus. If you don't know him as Lord and Savior, today is the day to start. Today is the day to begin that journey. It is a new beginning for you. It's the eighth day, amen. So I just want to give you that opportunity. If our heads are bowed, eyes are closed, maybe you don't know him as Lord, maybe you've been thinking about it, but you're here today and you're ready to make that decision. Or maybe you've known him in the past, but you've wandered away and you're ready for God to begin to restore some things in your life. Just slip up your hand. I want to pray with you here today. It's you. Today is the day I'm ready to start my journey with Jesus. Anybody, I see your hand, thank you, thank you.
Speaker 5:I know there are people watching online too, so I want to just pray this prayer. In fact, let's all pray it together. Say, pastor, is this prayer some kind of a magic formula? No, no, no, no, no. It's just words that we say, but it has to come from our heart to make a difference, because it's faith in our heart and the words that we say Confession with our mouth and from our heart, believe in it, deeply and fully convinced that he is Lord. So we're just going to come to him just like we are today. Dear Lord Jesus, I come to you today. I come to you today With all the good, bad and the ugly, with all the good, bad and the ugly. You know my life, you know our life All the things that have happened to me and with me, forgive me of my sins Today.
Speaker 4:I confess and believe Jesus you are the Son of God.
Speaker 5:You died for my sins. You rose again on the third day. Because you live, I too can have new life. Jesus, come into my life, fill me with your Holy Spirit. Give me the power to overcome. Thank you, jesus. You are my Lord and my Savior and from this day forward, I will follow you. I will learn how to follow you In Jesus' name. Thank you for writing my name in heaven's book. Amen. Oh, come on, celebrate with those that prayed that prayer today. Amen. If you're online, or you prayed that prayer in this room for the first time, or you're coming back to Jesus, come and connect with someone. Tell somebody what happened today. We love you and bless you, thank you so much Amen, amen.
Speaker 3:Y'all give it up for Pastor Doug and Susan. What a message. I hope you'll take it with you, not just on the paper but in your heart, and continue to confess over the next these 21 days of prayer and fasting. We have one more week to go. Let's stay strong and push in, lean into the presence of God and not relax as we near the end. Let's push in, let's intensify our faith and belief in what God can do through us this year. I want to invite the prayer team to join me up at the front. We are a little over time today, as you well know, and I just want to say thank you, guys, for sticking with us and hanging in there to hear the message and to believe by faith for what God can do here. If you'd like to pray with someone before you leave, you can come forward now and as we sing this next song, they'll pray with you. If you'd like Pastor Doug or Susan to pray with you, they'll be here.
Speaker 1:Otherwise I'm gonna dismiss you in the name of Jesus, and I will see you. I will praise you. Nothing can separate Because your love has made a way and I will praise you. I will praise you. I will praise you, jesus, oh Jesus, you're the lover of my soul, the king upon the throne, victorious. You stand For. You are the great. I am Jehovah, you are God.
Speaker 1:We're standing on the rock because we know the gates of hell they cannot prevail. I get to love her, love my soul. The king upon the throne, victorious. We stand for. You are the great. I am Jehovah, you are God. We're standing on the rock, cause we know the gates of hell they cannot be there forever, all my days. Nothing can steal my praise and I will praise you. I will praise you. Nothing can separate. Your love has made a way and I will praise you Because you're the lover of my soul, the king upon the throne, victorious. You stand for. You are the great. I am Jehovah, you are. We're standing on the rock, cause we know the gates of hell they cannot be opened.
Speaker 4:We are so glad you joined us today.
Speaker 2:Have a wonderful week and we will see you next Sunday.
Speaker 4:Thank you, we'll see you next time.
